I am not knocking hotels at all in the Vail area, but there is something to be said about a private vacation home. Hey, and don't think that if you decide to stay in a home that it will put you miles away from the action. That is not the case at all. In fact there are many private Vail homes that are withing walking distance to all the action of Vail Village, and all the world class shopping and skiing destinations.
Many of the Vail vacation homes are second homes for the property owner, and there is nothing they would love more than to have their Vail home rental, occupied by a family a skiing fanatics!
