There is nothing that can ruin a Vail vacation quicker than being uncomfortable on the slopes. So please pack the right kind of gear to insure you will enjoy your trip. There is nothing worse than being cold and wet. There are many obvious ways you might get wet, but the most common way is by sweating, This is almost unavoidable while skiing for obvious reasons, so you will want to be sure to dress in layers and make sure the materials you are wearing next to your body will wick moisture away from your skin.
